**Policy of Pousada Villa Tainá**

### 1. Reservation and Payment
- **Reservation confirmation:** required after sending proof of payment by email.
- **Advance deposit:** 30% of the total amount of the reservation at the time of reservation.
- **Remaining payment:** 70% at check-in, in local currency or debit/credit card (check accepted cards on the website).
- **Children under 16 years old:** are only accepted when accompanied by both parents.

### 2. Check-in and Check-out
- **Check-in:** from 4 pm.
- **Check-out:** until 11 am.
- **For arrivals outside these hours:** we require prior notice.

### 3. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Fines
- **Free cancellation:** within 7 days after booking, with refund within 30 days.
- **Cancellation 14 days or less before check-in:** 10% fine of the total amount.
- **Cancellation 7 days or less before check-in:** 20% fine of the total amount.
- **Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in:** no refund, but the amount may be used to reschedule within 1 year.
- **Cancellation by the inn:** 100% refund of the amount paid, plus 10% compensation.
- **Change of dates:** subject to adjustments due to monetary correction (IGPM), high season or holidays.

### 4. Guest Policy and Extra Services
- **Additional guests:**
- 1 extra guest: +20% of the room rate.
- 2 extra guests: +30% of the room rate.
- 3 extra guests: +40% of the room rate.
- **Day Use:** R$ 150.00 per adult (children over 3 years old pay half).
- **Extra services:**
- **Babysitting service:** R$ 30.00/hour.
- **Shopping service (concierge):** R$ 100.00 per trip. For purchases over R$ 1,000.00, an additional fee of 10%.
- **Extra cooks:** R$ 300.00 to R$ 400.00 per day. - **Overtime for guesthouse staff:** R$30.00/hour.
- **Laundry:**
- **Change of extra bed linen and towels:** R$15.00 per item.
- **Washing and ironing clothes:** R$10.00 per item.
- **Damage to property and goods:**
- Cost assessment with two quotes, with the lowest value prevailing.
- The guest has up to 30 days after check-out to reimburse the guesthouse.

### 5. Pet Policy
- **We accept 1 small pet (up to 10 kg) per accommodation per reservation.**
- **Pets are prohibited from entering common areas.**
- **If the pet uses the bedding, a fee of R$500.00 will be charged for cleaning.**

### 6. Accommodation Use Policy
- **Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations.** Fine of R$200.00 for cleaning.
- Our license does not allow the spread of smoke inside the accommodations.
- **The use of glasses, bottles and glass items in the pool and surrounding areas is prohibited.** Fine of R$500 to R$1,000.
- **Fireworks and similar items are prohibited inside or outside the inn.** Fine of R$500 to R$2,000.
- **The guesthouse is not responsible for:**
- Luggage.
- Valuables.
- Personal accidents.

### 7. Services and Amenities Included
- **Suite equipped with:**
- Bed, mosquito net, air conditioning, luggage rack.
- Smart TV, minibar, cotton bed linen and towels.
- Private bathroom complete with electric shower.
- Pool towels, clothes rack, iron.
- 200 MB Wi-Fi Internet throughout the guesthouse.
- **Breakfast included in the daily rate.**
- **Free parking for 1 car per suite.**
- **Leisure area:**
- Pool table, table football, pool and outdoor furniture.
- **Towels and bed linen changed every 3 days.**
- **Extra changes:** R$ 10.00 per item. - **Gourmet kitchen available with utensils and appliances.**
- **Guests are responsible for cleaning the items used.**

### 8. Additional Fees
- **Tourism tax:** R$ 2.00 per person/day.
- **Service fee at the restaurant:** 10% on consumption.
- **Payments via PayPal:** 5% surcharge.
- **Late payment:** interest of 0.5% per day.

### **9. Policy for Events and Occupancy of Over 16 People**
- **Events with more than 16 people and loud music:**
- It is necessary to obtain an **event permit** from the Porto Seguro City Hall.
- An **environmental authorization** is also required, as the beach is a public space. - In addition to the permit and environmental authorization, a **contract outside the Airbnb platform** will be mandatory, in which the guest agrees to follow state laws and property rules.
- A **security deposit of 5% of the total value of the accommodation will be charged.** **No exceptions.**

- **Fee for more than 16 people:**
- An additional amount of **up to R$200.00 per person, per day will be charged.**
- This amount may be deducted from the security deposit.

- **Energy consumption:**
- The daily limit for electricity consumption is **110 kWh**.

CANCELLATIONS – NO-SHOWS – SHORTENED STAY – PROBLEMS WITH THE RESERVATION

In accordance with the provisions of art. 20, Decree 7,381 of December 2, 2010 and Law 8,078 of September 11, 1990, reservations will comply with the following conditions agreed between the inn and guests:
In advance reservations that are canceled up to 15 days after confirmation, the amounts deposited as a deposit will be returned, minus 20% to cover financial and tax costs.
In the event of no-show or cancellation outside the 15-day period, regardless of the reason, the amounts received as a deposit will not be returned.
In the event of an advance reservation and the stay is shortened by the guest's decision, the amount equivalent to 50% of the canceled daily rates will be charged.
We do not transfer dates in case of no-show or when requested less than fourteen days before the check-in date. Advance reservations are guaranteed on a no-show basis.

In the event of force majeure that prevents the unit from being used on the guest's check-in date, it will be replaced by a similar one; if there is no availability or the change is not accepted by the guest, the inn will refund the full amount deposited by the guest when making the reservation, and will not be liable for any additional compensation for any reason.

In the event of a failure in the reservation process that prevents the guest from checking in, which is the responsibility of the inn, the inn will refund the full amount deposited by the guest when making the reservation, and will not be liable for any additional compensation for any reason.
